In the early hours of each day we bake, in our little shop, large and small cakes, tarts, desserts and things you can take home. We wanted a place in the Shire where you can come to enjoy a simple slice of cake or a cake to celebrate your most special occasions.

The Philosophy is Simple - Great Ingredients, with a pinch of skill, a sniff of imagination and there you have it Sweet Mayhem.

One of the original chefs at Black Star Pastry Newtown, Maria Mayhew took on a mature age apprenticeship, qualified as a pastry chef, worked for 8 years in the industry to finally bring Sweet Mayhem to life in the Shire.
